Welcome to Print My Plates (“Print My Plates”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions apply when you use printmyplates.com, our online store and customer portal at prism.printmyplates.com (together, the “Site”), or order products from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. The Terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order.
2. Using the Site
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable or interfere with it.
3. Accounts
You can request a quote or place an order as a guest. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
4. Quotes
Prices shown in an instant estimate are based on the information you provide. Items marked “Price after review” are priced by our team and are not confirmed until we send you a price. Quote links are valid for the period shown on the quote. We may correct a quote that contains an obvious error before you place your order.
5. Orders, proofs and production
All products are subject to availability. We may refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud or cannot produce the order as requested; if we cancel after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
When an order needs a proof, we will email you a link to review it. Production begins only after you approve the proof. Please check spelling, wording, layout, colors and quantities carefully: we are not responsible for errors in a proof you approved, or in text or artwork you supplied for an order that did not require a proof.
Most plate orders are turned in 3–5 business days. Production times are estimates, depend on current production levels and order count, and start once any required proof is approved.
6. Pricing and payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice; the price confirmed at checkout or in your accepted quote applies to your order. We charge applicable sales tax where required by law.
Orders paid by card or another online payment method are paid in full at checkout. If online payment for an order is not completed, we may cancel that order after 24 hours. Business accounts that we have approved may pay by invoice or purchase order on the payment terms we agree with them in writing. We may place orders on hold or suspend those terms if an account has a past-due balance.
Company pricing for approved business accounts applies only to that account and may be changed or withdrawn by us.
7. Shipping and delivery
We ship to addresses in the United States and Canada. Shipping options, costs and delivery estimates are shown at checkout and described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
8. Returns, refunds and cancellations
Because our products are custom made, returns and refunds are limited as described in our Refund Policy.
9. Your artwork and content
When you upload or send us text, logos, artwork or other content for an order, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that printing it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break any law. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to quote, proof, produce, ship and support your order. We may refuse to print content we believe is unlawful, infringing or offensive.
With your permission, we may show photos of finished products in our gallery and marketing. We will not use your logo or name in our marketing without your consent.
10. Our intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, photos and software, belongs to Print My Plates or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute it without our written permission.
11. Disclaimer
Except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law, the Site and our products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Our products are labels and covers; it is your responsibility to install them correctly and in line with applicable electrical codes, and to confirm that the information printed on them is accurate for your property.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Print My Plates is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
